At Mallery Hall, everything we design is unique, and uniquely for you. No project is too big or too small. There are no rules in our design.

Our client, was very interested in the sink picture above. Unfortunately our manufacturer was not importing this sink anymore. We assured our customer that we could custom make this sink for her almost exactly as shown with similar finish, made out of solid hardwood.

OUR DESIGN PROCESS:

For a smooth design process this is what we request of our clients:

To the best of your ability, please explain in detail the item you are looking for. You can provide a picture or a drawing, this would be the best start
Then be as detailed as possible with your dimensions and the features you need, and include any other details on how you will be using your item that will assist in your design
We also like to share wood and fabric samples so try to be as clear as possible on the finish and finish styles that you are looking for.
We use Sherwin Williams Duron and Benjamin Moore paints.These stores are convenient to most of our customers and provide a good starting point on finishes and stains.

HAND CARVED MAHOGANY:

We use custom shops in Vietnam, Peru, Mexico, and the Philippines. Our authentic hand carved items speak “heirloom” quality and also give our customers custom options. Basic hand tools (gouge, cutting knife, mallets, coping saw, carving knifes, and chisels) are used by our artisans, to provide unique character to every carving project.

As you can see in the pictures below we hand carve our designs with hand tools and authentic lathes.

For this sink we used Vietnamese Mahogany (Toona Febrifuga)

OUR FINISHED PRODUCT:

This custom sink is made of solid hand carved mahogany. It is hand turned.The finish is a mahogany finish with gold gilding accents. The base and bars are embellished with gold accents. This sink took 6-8 weeks made to order. The client received a almost exact replica of the sink she desired except she received a quality heirloom piece made of solid hand carved mahogany versus the imported piece she originally wanted. The faucet is not included.
