Description
Firstly, we are thrilled to introduce our Soleil de Provence Collection, an exciting new chapter within the Paradigm Collection, celebrating the romance and artistry of classic European design. At the heart of this debut is the exquisitely crafted Princess Sophie Carved Sideboard, a statement piece that sets the tone for the entire collection. Inspired by antique reproductions and early 1920s interpretations of French Provincial influenced design.
The hand-finished patina reveals gentle layers of warmth and character, while the gracefully shaped apron, cabriole legs, and delicately carved floral motifs form a refined, sculptural silhouette. Above, a stepped crown and carved frieze echo the elegance of the base, thereby creating a cohesive architectural presence. As the foundation of this collection, the sideboard introduces the signature craftsmanship and antique spirit that will define every piece to follow.
Secondly, the open shelf hutch option presents an airy, display-forward interpretation while maintaining the same carved detailing throughout the design. The paneled doors feature subtle scrollwork, while antique-inspired hardware completes the refined presentation. The open shelving allows for curated styling with ceramics, linens, or collected accents, while the carved edges and gentle distressing continue across each shelf, reinforcing the handcrafted charm and antique character of the collection.
Alternatively, the glass door hutch introduces a more enclosed, traditional cabinet aesthetic while still showcasing the interior beautifully. Framed glass panels add depth and refinement while protecting displayed pieces. In contrast, the tall cabinet hutch option offers a stately vertical presence, maximizing storage through concealed shelving. Its elongated proportions emphasize height and elegance, while the carved crown and base detailing maintain perfect visual harmony with the sideboard below.
Whether you’re designing a casual dining room or a cozy breakfast nook, this Princess Sophie Carved Sideboard brings an air of shabby French design. For personalized design assistance Contact Us and to explore complementary pieces, browse our Collections to create the dining room of your dreams.
